in Cambridge, England) was one of the founding members of the group Pink
Floyd.
Although his activity in pop music was short, he is considered
influential and is cited by many as the first psych folk artist.

Roger Waters
George Roger Waters (born September 6, 1943 in Great Bookham,
Surrey near Dorking) is a British rock and roll musician and songwriter.
He is best known for his 1965-1985 career in the band Pink
Floyd as their singer, chief songwriter and bass player.
Following this, he began a moderately successful solo career.
In 2005, he released an opera, "Ça Ira".

David Gilmour
David Jon Gilmour, CBE (born March 6, 1946) is an English
guitarist and vocalist with British rock band Pink Floyd and
has also released solo material and collaborated with many others.
Following the departure of Roger
Waters in the mid-eighties, Gilmour effectively assumed control
of the band.

Richard Wright
Richard William Wright, usually known as Rick
Wright (born July 28, 1943 in London, England), is the
keyboard player of Pink Floyd. He was a founding
member of the band in 1965, as well as being in its previous incarnation,
Sigma 6. Though not as prolific a writer as his bandmates Roger
Waters and David Gilmour, Wright
was an essential contributor to Pink Floyd's long,
epic compositions such as "A Saucerful of Secrets," "Echoes," and "Shine
on You Crazy Diamond".

Nick Mason
Nicholas Berkeley ('Nick') Mason (born January 27, 1944 in
Birmingham, England) is the drummer and occasional composer for Pink
Floyd.
He was brought up in Hampstead, London and attended Frensham Heights
boarding school, Surrey.
